"What the f**k is up, Coachella?" boomed a familiar, throaty yet defiant voice across the field on a dark Sunday night at the iconic Californian music festival. Punters looked up; it was Tupac Shakur. As a hologram.
It was as close to the real thing as you could get - the late rapper Tupac joined Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre for a performance on Hail Mary and 2 of Amerika's Most Wanted.
Those behind bringing Tupac's likeness back to life got things pretty much spot on - the muscles, the tattoos, the mannerisms, the lot.
As amazing as the technology sounds and the intent was sincere, it really does beg the question: is it appropriate? Is it creepy?
