CONFIRMED: Aussie Rockers Jet Break Up

After an illustrious 11 year career, Aussie rockers Jet have decided to take off in separate directions.

Nic and Chris Cester, Cameron Muncey and Mark Wilson issued a joint statement announcing the split.

"After many successful years of writing, recording and touring we wish to announce our discontinuation as a group. From the many pubs, theatres, stadiums and festivals all across the world it was the fans that made our amazing story possible and we wish to thank them all. Thank you, and goodnight."

The band will be best remembered for their hits Are You Gonna Be My Girl?, Cold Hard Bitch and Rollover DJ, selling over 6.5 million records, and writing a new chapter of Australian rock history in the 2000s.
